What does this checker actually examine?
The current verification engine examines URL and domain-structure characteristics such as the protocol, hostname construction, internationalized characters, embedded credentials, subdomain structure and non-standard ports.
What does it not know yet?
This first verification layer does not independently establish domain ownership, registration history, reputation, malware status, phishing reports or whether the organisation represented by the website is genuine. Those deeper checks will be added through trusted external intelligence layers.
